drive shaft - cv joint

hello all,

my car is ae92 1989, 4afe engine carburettor 16 valve

i have just changed my outer cv joint - 1 pair - 1 near the left tyre and another 1 near the right tyre.

Then, the noise when cornering is eliminated.

But I wonder, when I accelerate -- straight line -- little noise like outer cv joint noise ... klik klik klik, but at quiter.. appear. .. I suspect the inner part of drive shaft which look alike the outer cv joints (also closed by rubber boot) .. what the right term for it.. is it THE INNER CV joint ?. Should be it replaced together with outer cv joints that already being done ?
thanks for any input.

When I replaced my CVJ a little while ago, I noticed that there was very little clearance for the strap that hold the larger end of the rubber boot to the CVJ. If that strap is not secured properly, it may be striking the wheel assembly. That may explain the klik, klik, klik. Then again, check that there is no stone stuck in your tire.
Paul.
