S13 Front Splitter on AE86

I went to the Scrap Yard (Cookstown Auto Parts), and found no Corolla GTS's...heck not even 1 RWD Toyota! (No, not even MR2's).

So I ended up looking for anything for my 240SX. I found a front splitter from the higher model SE 240SX (early model, pig nose). I thougth how great it was that the 240sx can finally get it's first "mod".

After going home, I tried the front splitter on the 240sx. Great, it looks like it won't take much to install. Then after already putting the splitter away, I took it back out to try it on the Corolla...

check it out:

I haven't attached it on yet, but I think it'll work. Anybody else try this?

I used the one from an earlier model CRX but with a little bit of "cutting and pasting". That one looks like an exact fit.

I like it!!!

Looks a little odd, maybe because its quite a bit lower at the front than near the fenders. Could you make it parallel to the ground?

It isn't even sitting right on the bottom of the bumper cover. It was just kinda placed there by carefully hooking on only the ends.

it's pretty cool how low it makes the front though.

Yeah, it looks like your plate is keeping it from sitting right, if it was though, it would look nice and clean.

i found a lower lip from a 200SX, and i've gotten mixed reviews about it. it doesn't quite fit, but yet some actually like it, so i left it there...mainly b/c i'm too lazy to take it off again the sideskirts are in 4Aaron's hands now

i found a few i'd like to try as well, it just doesn't seem complete in the front of the 92 coupe, esp. with my 4x4 susp, lol

very aggressive front end jover! Did the lip happen to be red as well? How convenient

chester: leave the lip on, the "triangle" ends on each side matches the oem AE92 skirts
