How do i differentiate the AE92 MAP and AFM engines. Thanks in advance.

if there is a big black box that has about 10 wires going into the top of it on your intake plumbing... then it's AFM

Let me show you graphically coz it is easire to explain:



This is an AE101 with a 20v, but it's similar... the white arrow shows you what an AFM looks like... and the yellow arrow shows you where the MAP will be, roughly... it is a little vacum sensor on the back firewall.

afms are big blocky suckers that go in your airway.

that above is a blacktop (comes after the silver), and it came with a map, as seen in the silver top image, see the big blocky thing after the airbox? thats an AFM, i have a MAP, which isnt actualy seen here.. but you can tell, because there is no AFM!
