I was just thinking, wondering how it would look. After seeing a 300ZX with one... how would a moonroof look an an AE86? and how much woudl a job like that cost?

yup....and I spending like $700 (only for parts) for fixing the damn moonroof.....

a sunroof...is the thing that has glass...and it opens up and closes...a moon roof is the same..but its not glass....

ur talking about t-roofs....like how my car is.....sure it can be done...if u got loads of money....but in reality.....no..most likely not able to do.....it would look ghey IMO....

FYI: if you do the T-roof, you have to do a lot of chassis reinforcements mainly on the doors. you cut that roof you loose basically half of your chassis stiffness coming from the roof!

i've seen pics of a prelude that did a similar conversion...chopped his hardtop to make it targa......looks like ass to me.....but to each their own......

if you already have sun roof, then it shouldnt be oo bad... but, the truth is that your car will be much stronger without one//./ no one racing an 86 would do that to it///./ 86s are wasted on cruising , please dont turn your 86 into a useless car
