I just ordered my official Toyota 1985 FR Corolla repair manual. Now there is only 3 left in Ontario. That means I just bought 25% of the remaining repair manuals.
So if any of you guys are looking for one there are 3 left.
It was funny because the guy at the counter said they woulden't have them any more but I insisted that he checked. I sure made him a liar. I'll be getting it on Thursday. Now I have to go thank migs for the product # because with out that I would have never been able to get it.
I also shocked the guy when I asked if they sold TRD stuff (I asked mainly because I wanted to know if they were avaliable at that dealership). He thought they would not have parts for a car that old. Hehe. Made him a liar twice in one day.
are there any places to get dicounted shop manuals? I called my local dealer and they want 75 bucks for the engine manual, 75 bucks for the body manual, and another 75 for the electrical manual.
Is there a condensed version that includes all of these?

like i've been telling anyone...whoever wants the repair manual for the 86, i'll sell a photocopied version for $50
btw, trd usa has very little for the 86...all the trd stuff YOU want will have to be from the Technocraft division in Japan, and i'm 99% sure that Toyota dealers here won't be able to get them or even find part numbers.
be for wrned, thats not always possible. actually more than usuall, thats never the case. Its because, TRD japan uses completely different part # than TRD USA...they have no relation what so ever.
You're basically, just asking some other guy to order parts for you, when you could do the same. He won't get any discount, or anything because Toyota NA has no relation to Toyota Japan regarding marketing and sales.
A good place to look for parts is TED Components. Bill has an extensive history building 4age's. The club is also a better source than yer local dealer. All he'll do is do something you can do yerself and then charge you extra.

Nick
Where is TED Components? I can't do any mods now because I'm not done rebuilding. Actually I haven't even started yet. I think I will start this weekend thoe.
But I would still like to know where this place is because I'll be intrested in minor mods when I'm done rebuilding.
