I don't think toyota publishes a figure like that.

Maybe you could tell us what crazy stuff you want to strap to your roof and we can give our opinions on wether or not it will hold

Should hold up to 3 baby elephants if surface area is not a problem. Then again you can stack them on top of each other.

Anyway. The safest route if you wanna haul some ass is getting a trailer. Towing capacity figures are easily available, and your roof won't cave in in case you want to put a 4th elephant.

I put a matress on the roof of my 84 camry and it didn't fuck it up So the Rolla should hold at least 20 lbs or so

I think it's supposed to be atleast 1.5 times the weight of the car .. but I dunno.. shouldn't put too much weight up there anyways..

I had a 75 pound desk strapped to the roof of my 95' Tercel, so I'm sure you can put some stuff on it.

BTW if you go to the local Ikea and ask they can give you these cardboard triangle looking things (kinda looks like a set of stop sticks from Cops) which can be used as a roof rack. Just a little something to keep it from getting scratched.

Good luck
