Windshield Wipers

My 1999 Corolla Wiper Blades work, but not when they are in the intermittent stage. Anyone have this problem and how did you fix it?

Thanks for your replies.

Maybe the switch is broken. It's not a fuse or the wipers wouldn't work at all. The wires to the motor must be OK too or the whole thing wouldn't work. Perhaps you could get a new "stalk" at the junkyard.

Are they variably intermitent? If yes, the potention metre that adjusts the speed has blown. I'd opt for a new stalk with all new switches!
