I have a 92 Corolla LE with electronic locks windows, etc.

My driver side door will not open from the outside. It WILL open from the inside. An added little quirk... while opening the windows, when it gets approx half open, the door will automatically open.

Do I need only a new "clip" or do I need the whole door lock mechanism?

All help regarding this situation will be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention... The window will not open all the way. It appears that something is blocking it from opening and "triggers" the lock to open the door once it gets half open.

Check the rods inside the door, there might be some problems with them
