Another question -

Do you really need to get a strut bar for the car when you change the rim size and lower it? I've seen people have it and others who don't...

I don't want to get it if I don't need to. And can someone answer my question about the spedometer and rim/tire sizes?

Nope, you wont.
Well there might be some speedo inaccuracy, but its usually only minute, as you basically go bigger rim, smaller tire series, so the overall circumference is still the same (or close to it)

you dont need a strut-bar, no.

And like flashmn has said, so long as the overall circumference is the same, it should be fine.

*edit* for example, i now have 175/65/14 on mine due to oversize rotors and calipers, rather than the 165/75/13 stock, which has a 0.9% difference in overall circumference
