1986 Corolla Insurance

Hey. Pretty new to the whole 86 craze so I don't know much yet. But does anyone who is under the age of 19 have one insured?

How much does it cost?

Do you have full coverage (a million dollars liability, two way collision, fire/theft, and all the other things)?

Cause there's no point in getting one for myself if I can't afford the insurance. Thanks.

Are you serious? So how old are you now? 21...? Cause rates have gone up quite a bit.

I was thinking, half a million liability and one way collision with $500 deductible, don't know how much that would cost. Thanks for the info.

He's also in SC. You're in Kitchener, so I'd guess that it'll be a lot more for you, since you're in Ontario. I'm 22, and they want like $130 a month liability only.

Hey I just got a quote today. $213/month. I don't think that's half bad . But for some reason they cover me with collision, but whatever, $213/month seems good.

Well, the company name is Wawanesa. I think the only reason they accepted me is because my dad is currently with them, so they were willing to accept me as a principle driver for the AE86. Although they accepted me, they said "we can't insure the vehicle with collision" so if I get into an accident, then it's bye bye 86.
