Question how to change from air flow meter to map sensor?

if any body out there has changed his or her 1986 ae86 corolla from air flow meter to a map sensor please contact me.i read in a magazine about some guy which changed his ae86 to map sensor but there is no way to contact this guy .any information would be helpfull.thnx's!!!!

Why would you want to change it from AFM to map? What kind of set up do you plan to run for your corolla anyways?

Do-able... not really easy, and not cheap. It'll only be worth doing if you plan on other, more serious induction mods (maybe turbo or ITBs)...

you would need ecu from map donor car as well as sensor. might be pin out issues etc. done lots of times on domestics. 85 camero up to 92 map. tricky but doable. well worth it in my mind.

Not worth it in my opinion, the AFM isnt that restrictive in the first place.
