2zz-ge

Question. can i supercharge the stock 2ZZ-GE engine. If heard about TRD has superchargers for them, is that true? bearing in mind the compression ratio is 11.5:1

All I know is...

Yo, I was wondering the same thing because I have the new 2005 Xrs. And the answer, sadly, is no. I even emailed the TRD crew and they said nothing has been developed for it yet. but they actually gave me part numbers for a TRD C.A.I./ adjustable coilovers and exhaust that would(surprisingly) fit the new 05 XRS. All he said was to give it some time and come by next March to early summer there should be some aftermarket parts for 2zzge.

Bless,

~LiL HiTz~

your best bet is nitrous, the compression ratio is too high. There are a few turbo'd Matrix's around with a 2zz. Check www.matrixowners.com under forced induction

There are kits for the 2zz in the celica application. Check newcelica.org, they have some ads on there for kits.

Nope talked to Trial a while back with that same question, the S/c will not fit a rolla. And they don't plan to make anything for them
