TM4000 car stereo removal

My 98 model Corolla 1.3 Terra has an original TM4000 RDS cassette radio mounted.I wish to remove it, but its stuck.do I need special tools to remove it?

I have sucessfully removed car stereos in other
cars earlier by sticking either u shaped pins or flat pins into
the car radios left and right gap, but none of this seem to
work it for this car stereo.it seems there is no standard din
cassette/frame mounted, it feels like its been tightened inside
but I may be wrong.

Any suggestions is highly appreciated.

Toyotas typically have thier radios ISO DIN mounted. So you'll have to figure out how to take apart the panel around the radio, then unbolt and remove it.

A local Toyota shop told me how to do it today, and it wasnt difficult at all.I just removed the ventilation panel below the radio panel, and inside that hole I unscrewed the 2 screws that held the radio panel in place, and released it (it was held by 3 clips as well). After that I unbolted the cassette radio from the panel, inserted a normal din bracket and installed my new CD radio.
