Interior on AE86

is it common for people to customize the ENTIRE interior of an 86?

how much would it be??

i'm mostly stressing on the carpet, seats, dashboard and guages

i would like to know

a) cost of all the parts
b) cost of labour
c) name of well known places (or is it anywhere?)

for my ae86 so far i h ave but tenzo R racing seats and sparco 4 point racing belts. my back seats are out. Carpet- there is a company that makes them were its already cut and everything all u do is put it in. Dash- no new ones are made if u want another color good luck finding on thats not cracked, so just die it. Guages it u want stock one then they r hard to find for a sr5 but the gts r somewhat easy, u can only find them on ebaymotors.com. but it u want new then get autometer or something like that. good luck

Now a days people usually strip they're interior in their 86. I'm tryin' to restore my interior, it looks cleaner that way. So far it pretty much completed except for the torn rear seats As for full customization... YES indeed it's possible! In my Trueno /Levin magazine there is a kouki levin coupe that has bride interior. It's customized w/ bride seats, the rear seats have bride fabric and not to mention the door panels are fabricated w/ bride material.

look in the yellow pages...under custom interiors...u should be able to find someone local to you that specializes in custom interiors.....IMO its not worth it...unless ur gonna make ur car a show car....spending all that money on the interior will cost as much or more than the car itself......
