1998 toyota corolla question...

hi

i have a 98 toyota corolla auto, and on the auto tranny where it says P R N D.... those letters do not light up when the lights are on. is that the way its suppose to be? or is there a bulb burned out, and how would i replace it, thank you.

They should light up... consult your Haynes manual as to how to change the bulb.

how to change the bulb

I agree, get a Haynes manual, I just did it on my 96, not to bad, just time consuming as you have to pull out alot of the dash and yes their is a little bulb by the shifter good luck!
