Hi all, I'm new to this forum.
Been busy taking care of some long needed maintenance items on a '91 Corolla - one of which was to replace the right side CV shaft.
Job was going absolutely great until I was over come by a major case of boneheadness and neglected to place a drain pan under the trans. I popped the shaft from the trans and - yes, the oil poured out - completely missing the drain pan that was still on the shelf.
It's going to take me longer to clean up the mess than actually replacing the shaft.
Ok, now that everyone's finished laughing, here's the question. What type of trans lube does this 5 speed take?
