when car is in Neutral it rpms dont go down

When i put my 89 rolla sr5 in neitral it goes up to like 1.5 rpm maybe 2 and if i gas it it will go up and wont go back down unless i quickly tap the gas, this easily fixable? i think its just the throttle return spring


also in the mornings i start my car (starts stronger cold than when its warm) but if i gas it right away it will stall, i have to wait a couple min

try and clean your tb sounds like your intake plate is sticking. and then also see if it starts your cold problem or else let it warm up like your sposta.

cody.. if you got a carbed AE92.. just let it warm up like all carbed cars are supposed to be. If you got a fuel injected AE92 you can try to turn down the idle, there's a screw nearby the throttle body that you can fidle with.
