Help with AE86 - powersteering pulley.

ok, how the hell do i get this thing off. I loosened the tension pulley and got the belt off. no luck with the pulley. and what is this "woodruff" key the bible speaks of?

You will need a wheel/gear puller to get the pulley off. You can rent one of these at any tool rental outfit. A woodruff key is a half moon shaped insert that keeps the pulley from slipping on the shaft. It fits a concave slot in the shaft and a groove in the pulley.

just get a pulley remover from canadian tyres "lend a tool program"
they have little arms connected to a bolt, and then you just put the bolt in the middle where the hole is, the arms (have hooks) and hook them onto the inside edges of the pulleys, and then start tightening the bolt.
it'll pull it off easily
