Canada '88 corolla gts front struts replacement

I have '88 Corolla GTS with one broken left front strut assembly. I have had no luck finding a used match for it. If I change both right and left sides with a different set would it be possible to install a strut assembly from a non GTS model such as the SR5 or sedan models?

Thanks,
Dennis

I belive that the front suspension is one of the things that is different from the GT-S model to the regular Corollas. I think they are different lengths. Go aftermarket or look in some junk yards.

The front suspension on a GTS is drop-in strut cartridges.. so if you broke the strut assembly, then the only thing you can do is buy a new one from toyota or buy a used one from a wreckers. Too bad you're not in Ontario or I would offer to sell you the ones I got in my garage.
