Rear brake squeal on an '03 LE (drum)
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing rear brake squeal.
I have an '03 Corolla LE when I bought it it had 30,000 miles on it. It is Toyota Certified. I have put 5,000 on it and have been experiencing rear brake squeal.
This is ocurring at slow speed light brake pressure. And about 50% of the time. Can be as light sounding as a short chirp. To as long and as loud that a pedestian looks and jumps to the side.
I have brought the car back in to the dealer for the third time. It looks as though they are going to replace the brake shoes on their dime (even though toyota does not warranty their brakes against brake squeal.
I know Toyota had a recall on the Sieanna for brake drum squeal
