I have no clue what the newer corolla's can run.... but a big factor would be if it's a 5sp or not...

in my 1990 sr5 (5 sp, intake, plugs/wires) before i got my suspension done (which, yes, will increase my time because the car will rock less between gears and not slow me down quite as much) and w/ the stereo/backseats/pass seat/spare tire in i ran a best et (so far) of 17.8? and w/ all of that out i ran a very consistent 17.35 (but my best ever was a 17.33) and that's w/ a fairly good reaction time

Yeah maybe a stock automatics 0-60 times would be 12 seconds.

Kodiak from CC got 15.99 secs on his 1998 Corolla (120HP base) with only an intake and exhaust, and that's with the non-VVT-i 1ZZ-FE engine.

Hey guys, yeah the car so far runs pretty consistant 1/4's of 15.92 -> 16.2

If I can get the clutch to stop slipping I'm sure the car is capable of more...we'll just have to see what a stage 2 clutch and flywheel will help me do.

Also 'Bish' I did have new cams ground (took 3 trys to get right)...so although the car is still mostly stock...the cams do help a little. My car is like...99% stock + bolt-ons

Ultimate Goal is 14's. I'll be real happy if I can hit mid 14's with the car...but as with anything; I'm sure that once I get there...I'll have the need for more speed.
