Hex Lugnut Q's

Hey all,

Well I was just wondering... My ICW rims have a 5 bolt pattern to it but it's different than the stock ones. It's hexagonal in shape and but doesn't have a cover like the stock ones do so you just can't use the wrench that comes with the car to take it out... you need the key for that hex lugnut. The lugnut itself is cylindrical in shape but to unlock it requires a hexagonal key. But anyway, it's not covered and now you can see a little sign of rust to it on the insides of the hexagons - yellowish in color... most likely due to the rain and water.

Any good ideas as to prevent it from rusting - maybe have a spray on a "NO RUST" thing like at walmart or something or some cheap cover to place over them?

THanks!

well now that they've started to rust, well.. you can use steel wool to take off the rust then use grease to prevent future rusting.
