2005 clank noise after driving about 50 feet

Is this normal? After driving a few feet auto transmission there is a clank noise than I won't hear it again until after I put it in park and than drive again.

Also is it possible to disable the seatbelt beeping noise. It is very irritating, I can't find the buzzer to disable it. Is it on a solo fuse? Any help would be appreciated....Now I know I can warm up my car at night without the headlights on, my dealer had no clue,he was shocked when I told him...Thanks XRS rolla........

No it is not normal. You should not be hearing any clanking noises. Talk to your Toyota dealership as soon as possible and they will address the issue under warranty.

The noise is very light, you really have to listen for it, Is it possible it is sensor to lock the doors, which I have disabled?

Does any one else have a slight clank after driving a few feet in there new 2005 Corolla. You really have to listen for it, but it is very noticable. It is only the first time you put it into drive or reverse...I'm thinking someype of sensor for auto locks or seatbelts? I can't stand the thought of bring it back to the dealer. They are so irritating.............

ABS brake solenoid causing noise

I pulled the fuse on the ABS brakes. What I found was very interesting. The clank noise stopped!. It must be a sensor that turns on the ABS brakes. Hope this helps any other ABS Corollas out there..........j

Why are you disabling all this stuff: door locks, ABS, seatbelt chime, etc.?

Talking

I started disabling stuff for two reasons: One I was trying to figure out what the clank noise was in my new Vehicle. It turns out the ABS sensor kicks in when the vehicle is first moved. The other is that the seatbelt buzzer is annoying. I hope this is an acceptable answer for you....
