Alrighty i'm a honda driver, love my CRX, won't ever sell it. My sister on the other hand drives a 4dr corolla station wagon and the motor is shot, blown up, she's a chick, but i love her.
How hard are the installs on these motors? I can install a motor on a honda w/ my skate board.
Which way is the best way to get the motor out? Top? bottom?
Any tricks i should know about?
write ups?

How much should i look for in price? i've seen them for 460 in the Bay Area (CA).

Thanks

most people on here don't do an install on a 7a-fe.... plus you somewhat insulted corolla's by sayin "my sister on the other hand..... she's a chick, but i love her" after saying you're a honda guy on a toyota board.... anyway...

i've never done any engine swaps.... but i'm sure it's easy... probably just as easy as the honda... 460 is a good deal for just the engine... as long as it has decently low mileage....

and don't say anything like "i guess none of you have looked under your hood" or whatever you said... i'm sure there are guys on this board (and other corolla boards) that know more about corolla's and their cars than you do about your crx.... (and yes, there are MANY corolla enthusiasts that can answer ANY Q you have about these cars... but i dunno about on this board)....
