Cruise Control for 2003 Corolla CE - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I recently purchased a 2003 Corolla CE. It did not have cruise control, but I figured I could have it added later. I have since found out that Toyota does not make a cruise control for the CE, but I could have it added aftermarket. The aftermarket cost is about $400. Has anyone else had cruise control installed on a CE? Just wondered how it turned out and how much it cost. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Toyota does not make a cruise control module, but Gulf States Toyota does. I checked with www.toyotaautoparts.com and the part number for the 03 Corolla is 00012-01800. They would sell you the unit for $199.00 plus shipping. I would go that route. I have a Gulf States Toyota cruise control on my Celica and have had it since 97 and it still works great. Not sure how much installation would run you though.
