4AGZE is an excellent motor with great potential. the motor on a stock trim has plenty of torque, if fact it's know coz of that. depending on your budget, but you can go from changing just the SC pulley to a bigger/larger one up to twincharging the sucka! 4AGZTE

if you're dropping this on a '91 Celica, why not getting a 3SGTE? do a search on this motor, you won't believe the potential of this motor! IMO i'd take this over the ZE if i'm driving a Celica.

Yea. The tranny will bolt on. Or get a 4A-GE auto tranny from a Corolla. Don't know if you need to change drive shaft.

4agze

so the engine is good. do you think the engine will fit in the celica st. I ask because they are of the same family 4a or at least i think so. I would drop a 3sgte but the modifications will be to extensive. i would settle for the 4agze if it will go in alot smother. thanks for your reply..........

only auto trannies that came with a 4age came in the mk1 mr2's (linkage on the wrong side) and the fx16....... whatever tranny you have now will work, but you'll need a 4age (8 bolt) flexplate, and i would reccomend the torque convertor that came with those as well

and i have those in my garage

yes, the gze will bolt into a celica st
