weber action

Hi. I'm new here so I don't really know what I'm doing, but I have an 89 corolla 4af and I'm wondering if when I get a new weber will I still have to worry about my check engine code for a Map sensor which costs as much as a new carb. And what will happen to my vaccuum hoses? Computer and timing? Egr?

Besides that what will happen to my egr, vac advance, manifold. And I was thinking about getting a DCOE are those harder to work with

They are if you dont have any experience working with them... I blew a headgasket with the keihins, because I was jetted too lean, didnt notice it till it was too late.
EGR and those wouldnt exist anymore... so that might be a problem where you come from depending on the emissions standards.

I swapped it to a regular one, it blew because it was running lean (detonation). Also had the head shaved while had the head gasket changed
