Question exhaust manifold 7AFE, 5spd
my exhaust manifold is cracked, (96 Corolla - 7afe 5spd)I'm looking at an aftermarker vs dealer, 1/2 the price. Has anyone tried this, it's pretty easy my concern is stripping the studs/bolts in the block/head. recommended penitr oil. Any help/advice for this repair would be a great help.
Note: replies please stick to stock no performance stuff. thnx mvb

The manifold bolts should be copper so they shouldnt be that stuck, go gently they should come off. I'd go with tube headers, but ofcourse a stock manifold is a direct replacement. You could try and source one from a wreckers.
