Starting problem with my corolla 99 make

I have corolla CE which is 99 make.

When I try to start it, it make tick tick tick noise for some time. After few tries it finally starts. It happens only in the morning ( it is bout 12 hours gap from the previous start).

Is it the problem with the battery or starter?. Sometime back when it did not start at all, I had to ask someone to jump start my corolla. After that I went to sears auto center. There they checked the battery and everything was fine. They checked alternater also and it is also good. But the guy there said that the battery could be going bad as the corolla is about 5 years old. he said usually the factory battery comes only for about five years.

i had the same problem with my corolla bout a year ago... your battery may be going bad OR one of your cables is loose my suggestion... get a new battery and clean your battery cable connectors
