MSD ignition for my 01 Corolla?

I'm thinking of getting one of those performance ignition setup for my Corolla.

I was looking at this:

and this:

However, I dunno if they will work for my car. Or are they those universal parts that can be added to any car?

Unless you're going turbo or NOS or SC or higher compression piston, ignition upgrade will only give you smoother idle. No gain at all. Email/call MSD for advice. I believe the 01 is all electronic ignition. Maybe even coil on plug.

Dear Sir,

Unfortunately we do not offer an ignition system for your application, the factory ignition on your application has an igniter/coil assembly, and with this type of set up you will not be able to adapt an aftermarket ignition, since you cannot separate them. If you do try to install it, it will damage the igniter and will not start on factory ignition, plus the igniter has to remain in place for the factory ignition. We are currently in the process of coming up with an ignition for this setup, but there is no set finish date.
