loaner car

hello i was wondering if it possible for a toyota car dealership to give a buyer a vehicle as a loan or rental for a week, while they are waiting for a new car to be shipped up
the reason is i have a someone who needs to get my own car right now, to buy from me ASAP so they can move down to some where else

so would it be possible for toyota to give me a loaner car while i wait for the new car to come in so i can let go of my old car?

Nope - not unless that dealership operates a car rental agency out of it...and I doubt it would be free. If you were buying a Lexus they might but on a low margin car the cost and risk is too high. They may also have insurance limitations as many dealerships have had to cut costs by adding restrictions to their policy (such as not allowing non-ermployees to drive cars unattended).

$150-$300 will get you a rental car for a week which is reasonable. Why don't you and the buyer of your old car split the difference - since you're inconvenienced and bending over backward to get them the car on their schedule.

Good luck.
