Leg Room

I have a 2003 Corolla, and will be driving it now back anf forth to work. But, it is lacking in leg room for me. I'm 6-2, and find I could easily use another two inches of leg room. Has anyone extended where they bolt to the floor, or extended the rails which they glide on? I doubt the factory has any such things.

Unfortunately, the 2005 Corollas allow the seat to go back a few more inches, but this was not available in 03/04.

I Have an 03 also and at 6'1..have the same problem, they gave the rear passengers more leg room but not the driver, looking under the seat it looks like it has a few inches of extra track there for the seat to go back, I didn't really give it a good look but there just might be a just a stop that can be moved/removed, i'll check it out more and let you know...I found if you tilt your seat back more you get more leg room....also it would be a blessing if they would ever get rid of that stupid giant foot rest....Raddman Out....

Thanks, I'll look too about the rails. Seems like an easy solution. And yes, that big rubber pad is a pain.
