OK, so this is my first post, I have used the search button. I have a few question about my wife's car. 2000 with 27,000 +/- miles. The CEL is now on, not sure how long as I never drive her car. When I did I noticed it, we do the 3,000 oil and fluid check. When cold the car hesitates on acceleration, just when cold. I'm kind of at a loss what to check or replace. We are no longer under Warranty so I'm not sure what my steps are, Iv read the you can get it diagnosed with a computer. Is there a cheaper alternative besides the dealer for this, AutoZone? OK, sorry for the long post. Thanks for the help.

Some AutoZone stores will check the CEL codes for free, you can ask them and I'm sure they'll take care of it for you.

If it turns out to be a bigger problem I wouldn't wait for it to get checked out.
