i thought jeffrey was going to piss on himself when the guy said....."$300.....for both" there was this huge shite eating grin on his face! we got them from a vw graveyard outside of town. the guy knew what the cars were and even knew the engine code. he said back in the day he bought 40 of them from an insurance company that used them for company vehicles. He bought these two that jeff bought from individuals. the red one was running when the lady brought it in. the rear bearing was going out he said. while he had it, someone at their church died and left them a benz. i guess that justifies going to church! :P j/k anway, she told the guy he could have it and it has sat there ever since. that was 2 years ago. the other car was one he had bought and sold to different people and eventually the last person blew up the motor he said, but it will make a nice parts car. still pretty sweet deal!
