Radiator Coolant

Hi all: I have some Toyota Red Coolant mix leftover from my 2002 camry radiator "flush and fill" service. Can I pour some of this red into Corolla's resrevor which has green coolant in it? This is a 1991 Corolla with 165k on it, & its running just fine. Thanks, -Ric

Some say you can do it, some say you cant... Personally I wouldnt. Just get some green stuff, I mean coolant doesnt cost that much anyways. Oh and since its getting winterish, make sure you got a 50/50 mix of water and coolant.

Personally I don't like the red coolant. Its pretty hard to see the rust in it.

Don't mix them.. you will ruin the heating/cooling capabilities of whichever one is the main one in your car.

i like the red coolant it helps find any leaks if they should appear (esp with a car with 200K), that and i get it for cheap at my work
