HELP! bottoming out=scraping?

here's the problem, everytime i make a right turn, i hear a scraping sound that is coming from the front driver side. so i look under the front lip and the driver side is scraped. Me and my dad thought it was the struts/springs that was the problem so we replaced it with HP blues and Prokits but it just got worst. it's still scraping and no it scrapes when u brake hard. what do you think the problem is? lower contral arm? tension rods?

the car was in an accident back in 92 involving the driver side fender and a motorcylce. it never started scraping until a year ago?

PLEASE HELP! THANKS

I presume you've had someone turn the wheel while you watch and listen for scraping?

If there's nothing obvious making that scraping sound then take it to a garage for their opinion. It's tough to diagnose something like that because it could be anything.

ren: the prokits lowered it 1 inch in the front 1.3 in the rear. And it was already scraping even when the suspension was stock.

rolla: me and my dad are going to take it to the shop soon..

(this is when it was on stock shock/struts/springs)
i would scrape when i go through dips even when i have already slowed down. i would have to do a complete stop in order not to scrape the front lip. i would also scrape when i brake and make a right turn.

(currently on NEW HP BLUES AND EIBACH PROKITS)
the front lip would scrape everytime i brake hard... it would scrape when i make a right turn.

thanks for all the replies! i still need some more info/help

Might have chassis or frame damage.

You won't really know unless you look under the car.

Also what tire/wheel package are you using?

What model Corolla do you have?

can the problem be the strut casing? i did a few research and it sounds like the fornt driver side is bottoming out but i replaced the springs and struts/shocks already. can the problem be with the strut casing assembly?
