There's a Blacktop and Silvertop 20V's for sale in the B/S/T forum.

The silvertop 20V were all AFM. If you plan on using the Silvertop 20V ECU... then you'll need the 20V Silvertop AFM. If you use the blacktop ECU, then you'll need a Toyota MAP sensor. I believe most of the Toyota map sensors are the same. People have used 5SFE/7AFE map sensors and such successfully to do MAP conversions on 20V motors. As for the distributor... you're gonna have a very hard timing finding one of those. try asking around on club4ag.com...

Do a google search for Phil Bradshaw's page. He has basic breakdowns of Silvertop ECUs and various diagrams...

Thanks kwanza all is appeciated, as for REN69, there is no need to critisize other peoples work. And by the way, there aren't too many people out there that have done this conversion. Also being done is a Levin front end and rear end conversion. But thanks anyways...all is appreciated!

Don't fret when dyno figures are barely approaching 100HP ATW.

i agree with Kwanza... if you have a hard time finding the dizzy, maybe try a non-distributor set-up. but it'll bit a much more expensive route.

FYI: someone told me that the GM map sensors are BEST to use with the 20V.

How hard is this swap? What mounts did you use? Which trans? Axles? I have been looking into doing the same to my 99 rolla but can't find any info on someone who has done it. Where did you get your 20v from? I have been looking at several on Ebay but just a little worried about gettting an engine that I have not personally looked at. Got burned on the last used "LOW" mileage engine that I got. Good luck on your project and will be looking for your results.

thanks WD

ps Its my daily driver and I do a 120 miles round trip to work everyday SO gas mileage is also a concern. Does anyone have any mileages numbers on the Silvertops in stock form? thanx again WD

Here is a link that has an english version of a Blacktop manual it will not be just like the Silvertop but it will be at least something close. Its seveal pdf files broken up into different sections, Engine Mech, electrical, service specs, EFI, etc. Hope it helps.
Found it on this site http://www.onthenet.com.au/~paulp/Blacktop/

Here is the main page it was on and the link is at the bottom, it case the first one doesn't work. http://home.earthlink.net/~roethler/engine.html just look at the lower left side.

later WD
