About to buy a used 86 SR5

I was just wondering how difficult it would be to drop in a 4AGE engine into this car. it has the stock SR5 motor. is it just a simple drop in or do you need to get extra things?

And also, i am eventually going to have to get a new clutch for the car. How hard is it to change the clutch?
Any information will be appreciated as i am new to the toyota scence. thanx.

You'll need extra things. Not worth it in the opinions of some people.

Go to club4ag.com and go to the tech reference section - scroll down and you'll see an sr5 to gts section. That should let you know what you'll need.

Not hard to change the clutch so long as you have a manual with you or someone with you who has done it before.
