Clashing sound when shifting in an AE82 corolla (87)

When i´m going from first to 2nd gear at high RPM, and than from 2nd to 3rd gear. the car makes a strong clashing sound and gives me a whack in the neck. But from 3rd to 4th nothing like that ever happens. Anybody got a clue as to what´s going on.
PS: it hapens even though I let the clutch out gently and sometimes at lower rpm. any help would be thanked.

Probly the synchros on the gears giving you trouble need replacing.

Somebody told me that it could be the engine mounts or the gearbox mounts, but I checked them and they seem fine, so thanks a lot bmw5002, I´ll get it checked, how much do you think that would cost, Just a ballpark figure. Thanks a lot.

Thats kinda gettin into the tranny but its not a total rebuild so i dunno maybe 200-500 labor? Just ballpark.
