Canada wheel cleaning

whats the best formula or wheel washer or soap to use to clean the rims
i have a 2005 toyota corolla S with the aluminum rims

is regular car washing soap just as good as rim cleaner?
whats recommended?

Well. depending on how dirty they already are, Iīd use normal carwash soap. but if the rims have that black brake powder stuck n them and you canīt get it out... the only darn thing I could find that got it out in a hurry without damagging the coating on the rim was a Spray oven cleaner. Even so. Its better to keep ot clean as often as you can with regular carwash saop. Itīll work if its not to messed up

Any ideas on how to fix rims that have been damaged to remove the clear coat?

Some dumb arse nicked one of my rims with his wrench when taking them off.

i cleaned my after market rims by leaning against the curved by accidently. it worked, it looked more rubber....
