another controversy: NOS and carbs: Do THEY mix??

As far as I was concerned, because I read it somewhere, I was under the impresion that Nitrous Oxiede Systems where only aplicable in direc-injected engines, considering that yoiu added performance high flow fuel injectors, and other performance engine parts.
I was quite surprised when I talked to a guy that sets up NOS in a shop here in my town (the only freaking shop there is with NOS) nd he tells me that you can set it up in a carburated car.

SO, the question in my mind is: Is this guy just trying his best to sell me a NO System for my carburated car, or is he legit.

Look I´ve researched some, and I´ve found a shitload of NOS systems for fuel injected cars, and no NOS for crbed cars, but I got a guy that installs the NOS systems and he tells me that it is posible, so I´m confused, I do research before I post, so If you know, than tell me, if you don´t, than don´t try to look smart insulting my intelligence.
