how do i disable the daytime running lights on a 2003 corolla S. i had to buy a 2nd pair of bulbs within 2 months.

That's definitely worth asking. I would be more concerned about electrical problems and get it checked under warranty. That is way too often for bulb replacement. I've never had bulb burn-out problems with the DRLs on my car.
