Unhappy 20v 4AGE HArness

Hello everyone I am Vladimir, call me Vlad please. I was on Corolla-Racing.com but it seems it no longer exists. A friend told me of this forum. I have a MAJOR problem. Well I think it's major. My Silvertop 20v arrives TODAY, YES TODAY. But I still have no reliable info on the wiring harness that I would need. I do have the tranny and ECU with it, just so you do not have to worry about that because I could tell you would and I do not want you losing sleep.

My car info: 1989 Corolla GTS (FWD AE98, Red/Black 4AGE with TVIS) with manual tranny, car is stock except for lowering springs...I don't know what other info you would need. Basically I need a 20-valve wiring harness, so my questions are: Where did you guys get your harness? A company name? A contact, anywhere, anything? Or did you use the 16v to splice the old one? I know there are differences between the 16v 4AGE and the 20V 4AGE harness, can you guys tell me what is different? Or do you have a wiring diagram? ANYTHING?

I have contacted a few harness places but they all keep saying the same things....if it isn't a real racecar (drag, NASCAR, etc) or American car then they don't do it.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Vlad

wiring is a bitch

let me know how that goes!

Well I got the engine, tranny and ecu from EBAY for $550 plus $200 to ship....what a bargain...at least thats what I think.....

I have some ideas on splicing the harness I have but I won't know until I see everything. I have a diagram but its in Japanese....so I'm in the works of having it translated.

*edit*
I went to Club4AG....they have complete engine setups, they won't sell just the harness and thats all I need....

Does anyone know of a custom wiring company out in the world....I am tired of trying to convince people to sell me just the harness and I really DONT wanna splice the 16v one with the 20v stuff I need...I have an 20v engine and no power....I feel so.....so......so.....unable to perform....inadequate....yeah thats the ticket......HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info everyone...I have some good leads.....I found a company in Australia that says they do corolla harnesses ALL the time. Stock 4AGE, 20v and the 4AGZE, they have full harnesses and the other halves of cut harnesses for those who wanna save some money....I'll get the info up here in a little while.

If I understand the guy, his name is Paul, they do it all....harnesses imported like the engines from Japan and modifying stock 4AGE to accept the 20v and 4AGZE. He said they have full harnesses and cut ones that they carry for people like me that have 1/2 of a harness. They are in Queensland, Australia...

The page is: www.crossleyracing.com/home/default.htm the webpage has SOME info but not alot....I emailed him to get me what ever info he could and once he does I'll post it up....remember they have a 15 hour time difference than I do.....so I won't hear back from him until tonight.
