I got quoted at $3,000 a year for full coverage. Is this good or bad?

drop collision and it will be ALOT cheaper.

because the car has such a low book value, the second you get into any sort of fender bender they are just going to write it off so collision is somewhat pointless.

i pay 1296/year for my 86 GTS.. basic liabilty and comprehensive.. with collision it's 1560/year for me which is not bad

but still...3 gees is too high. i got quoted $1300 no collision and i have 5 HTA infractions in the last 2 years...and i just turned 24.

is just because its just more expensive in ontario?
or you just have a bad record with tickets and s**t like that?

I think they might be playing the inexperianced angle or something. It is kinda funny when you think of the amount I was quoted because I'd be paying more than what I bought the car for in insurance per year.
