i've seen an sr5 hatchback, does that mean its got the 4af? in which case it has to say its a GT-S for the 4ag?

cause i'm looking for another AE86 and i've seen a panda hatch around in town, but its an sr5. basically how do you tell which on has the gt-s spec from the sr5. besides looking at the engine. tell me what to look for.

i'm just guessing that all coupes were sr5's and now i'm probably wrong, heh.

I know both GTS and SR5 came in hatch and coupe so you're wrong there for sure.

That's a good question though! How could you tell the difference between the AE86 GTS and SR5 if they're both done up and have no badging?

Bumpers (Thoe I've seen a few SR5 with GT-S bumpers). Failing that the VIN number. The moon roof should be a dead give away to. I belive only the GT-S came with it. Also the interior looks different.

if you look at the speedometer, i think SR5s go up to 180, while GT-S go up to around 240...

also SR5 has drums in the rear

and someone said earlier if u look at the VIN number, and it says something like JTZ86 then its a SR5, JTZ88= GT-S

Project Trueno I think you're talking about the AE92! Cause I know they have drums in the back and the speedometer on the SR5 goes up to 180km/h while on the GTS goes to 220KM/h

Is it the same difference on the AE86?

4age = gt-s

4ac with the round air cleaner on top = sr-5
