I understand that. I wasn't considering it because of strenght and horsepower output. I have a bent wheel hub on my right side and I think the axle shaft may be bent, but I have been unable to find anyone who has one. All of the rolla's in the junk yard are SR-5s and from what I understand the axle shafts are not compatible. There is perhaps one place in town that may have one, but they are a pain to get a hold of and find. I've been looking for a couple weeks locally and online and have been unable to find a right side wheel hub and axle shaft for an 85 GT-S. That's the only reason I was considering the swap. I would much rather keep the GT-S rear end simply because of the availability for aftermarket LSDs that I have found for it. If anyone can help me get my hands on a wheel hub and perhaps and axle shaft that would be great. I'm not sure if the axle is bent. I know the wheel hub is. It tracks crooked. The space between two lugs is pressed back toward the diff from when the previous owner said hello to a tree :P. I am not sure if the axle on the right side, or either side for that matter, is supposed to have some in and out play in it, but my right side axle (the one with bent hub) can be pushed in and out about half a centimeter or so. I'm just trying to enhance my options as I am having trouble finding the stock replacement parts for the rear end. I really don't want to deal with toyota on this b/c it seems a lot of people get reamed by toyota's parts department when it comes to older model cars. Thanks.
