Need help hooking up 81 Rolla

I have an 81 too, is automatic for now, I'm thinking of putting in a manual transmission, or maybe i'll sell it.
I'm in Orlando, FL.

No its not a TE72 its a 3TC if i'm not mistaken.

TE72 is the chassis code not the engine code.
So your chassis is TE72 and your engine is 3TC

As another example my Corolla is a 86 GT-S
My chassis code is AE86 and my engine code is 4AGE

Ohh i see, so my engine is capable of 400 hp. That is what i want to learn, i need a performance upgrade guide, like they have for my eclipse. I want to learn how i can reach the performance i want and where to start at.

Theres the problem with Toyotas, theres not as big an aftermarket when compared to DSM's and Hondas. But the basic principles still apply, move more air, you'll make more power. Best way to move enough air to make huge power out of a small displacment motor? Lots of revs and lots of boost.

THe Best PLace tio start at is putting on a new header, w/ side draft carbs and a 3" muff (can get anywhere) I'd say your going to get your fasted HP jump that way, most expnsive but deff the fastest
