Its the revision number... hmm, AE95 is a 4WD, is yours a sedan, coupe, liftback, or what?
The bodymodel is still the E9.

yup, what flashman said.
the A is the engine code, E is the model (corolla) 9 is the generation, and then the 2 or 4 is the body style....i think

if the last digit is for the body type/style, then how come there's an AE91 4dr. sprinter (i think?) and an FX 2dr. hatch model?

mine is a 1990 corolla sedan.so then in ae94, the 4 stANds for four doors?lol thats my guess
