Canada auto trunk release

hello i have a 2005 toyota corolla, just bought it, iahve power windows and locks

but the trunk release is only manueal from inside and with key, i have keyless entry

i was wondering if its possible if i purchased a remote starter from a store etc, would i be able to get a remote from them that would open the trunk with a remote? or do i need to have a electric trunk opener?
thank you

Didn't you just state that you have a trunk release from the manual lever and your key?

You might be able to buy a trunk release solenoid and have it wired into the alarm. I'd try asking any descent alarm shop. When I bought my alarm from Circuit City, the remote trunk release could be done with a solenoid.

first off - Koss, we know you just got it, you don't have to say so in every thread

secondly...if you want a trunk release, do what Wolf suggested...all alarm installers should have them available, and it shouldn't cost too much to get it done. usually they can program it into the second button on the remote.

now if you start asking about remote start, that's a whole other ballgame.
