Hi, my AE92 is soon back on the road.
After the new engine, i want to start replacing worn parts and stuff like that.
You know stuff like tires, new shocks, etc.
Till now, bought or ordered are:
OEM front shocks
Tires
Front strut brace
I don't know what to replace/add, I was thinking:
Anti lift plates.
Utahne bushes or what they called.
What else should i concider replacing to start restoring some of the car's original superb road holding and feel?
And most importantly, aprrox cost and form where to source them.
Thanks guys.

for AE92, the common thing that goes are:
Rear Calipers
clutch master cylinder
clutch slave
fuel/brake line
engine mount
shifter cable
parking cable
flex pipe/exhaust manifold
i make urethane motor mounts but i dont know if i can help you since you dropped that 4efte in there (right?! or did you swap again?) i would get some bigger sway bars off of a levin or sprinter and put them on there or lash two stock ones together

there so much since its an older car....
my ae92 hasn't had ANY of these problems... though, i don't have rear calipers... lol... that's an mk1 mr2 problem too, though... just "rebuild" them yourself.. pretty easy and works great....
i've heard a lot of people (including me) who have had breaking speedometer cables

Hi there....long time reader, first time poster......I have a 92 Camry V6 Le with 200,000KM's on it just recently I'm beginning to feel a bit more vibration in my steering wheel than before, given the age of the vehicle I'm pretty sure the motor mounts are on their way out. I was wondering what you charge for the urethane motor mounts since you live pretty close to me.....If you'd rather discuss this pm that's cool let me know please as I'm interested
Yes, i have the 4E-FTE engine, so i would need E- series mounts (to be exact the car is a EE90, so parts like the oem strut brace, are actually an upgrade.)

Gmann....when was the last time you balanced your tires? Or looked at your CV boots. One of mine was blown and it shot grease all over the inside of the wheel and threw the balance off....cleaned the wheel, rebalanced it and the vibes are gone.
I'm pretty sure it's no the balancing, as I'm an avid person in doing that every ten thousand km, but it's not excessive and also does it when idling (very slight, most people wouldn't notice it, but I know it just recently appeared). As for CV boots, again the steering wheel very lightly vibrates a bit at idle, and goes away as soon as I start accelerating. Mind you I will take your suggestion and double check everything, but have a strong suspicion it's the motor mounts. Quick question how long does it take to replace and I'm assuming you may as well replace both obviously instead of just one

hehe, i've restored almost everything on my car, i dunno what'll be the next thing to go...im guessing fuel tank, but still solid as is. the only thing next is to pop in a motor

hows your Silvia head light coming along???
haven't been working on it much.... i'm trying to get the mr2 close enough to where i can drive it around daily w/o much fuss so that the corolla can go into the garage... need to finish the front end, swap oilpans so i can add the oil cooler, and possibly pull the head and have some work done to it....

well if that vibration bothers you at idle the urethanes will vibrate the chasis pretty badly at idle but they also last a hell of a lot longer, umm i charge about $120 for a set if you send me the stock ones but if you would rather stay stock there are a few junk yards arround my area that have stock mounts for cheap, (trusting that i can find them)
